Betterliving Retractable Awning Warranty

Front profile, torsion bar, roller tube, hood and cassette manufactured by Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Company for Betterliving® Retractable Awnings are covered for the lifetime that the product remains as originally installed should they become unserviceable.

Arms, shoulders, mounting brackets and assembly brackets are covered for twelve (12) years from the date of sale should they become unserviceable. Northport Series Fabrics are covered for twelve (12) years from the date of sale if the fabric becomes unserviceable due to a manufacturing defect resulting in color or strength loss during normal usage and exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew and atmospheric chemicals.

All Betterliving awnings are installed by Authorized Betterliving Dealers. Betterliving by Clarke Contractors is an independent Authorized Betterliving Dealer and offers a 3 year workmanship warranty on installation in addition to the Craft-bilt manufacturing warranty.

WIND SENSOR

Your Awning will automatically retract when it detects wind.
Strong winds can damage an awning, but with the wind sensor, your awning will automatically retract into its protective cassette when wind is detected. The wind sensor attaches to the front bar of your awning and senses when wind starts to pick up. It allows for peace of mind that your awning will be safe in windy conditions, even when you’re not at home to close it.


LED LIGHT KIT

Ambient light for your deck or patio.
With the dimmable LED light kit, you can spend more time on your deck or patio enjoying the outdoors into the night. The light kit seamlessly and easily integrates into the awning’s arms and is available in warm or cool white.

Choose between twelve levels of brightness and set your preferred light level. Your light kit is controlled with the same device that you control your awning and is compatible with mylink. It can either be built into the awning before installation or you can add it onto an existing awning.

    Absolutely love our new awning. Only reason I didn’t give a perfect score is because the 12 ft power cord wasn’t long enough so we had to order the 24 ft. I think it should come with the 24 ft cord. Chose this brand because of the many fabric options. We were able to pick something that matched our house trim and it looks great. The guys from Clarke that installed were very friendly and professional.

    I recently purchased a retractable awning from this company. I scheduled an appointment and they came to my home to give me a written estimate. They answer all my questions and explained everything in lots of detail. They demonstrated how the mechanism works and had samples of the materials. Everything seemed very high quality. They had lots of color options and I was able to choose something that matched very well. After they measured I got an estimate I was happy with. I also ordered the sensor that retracts the awning automatically if it storms. Best warranty compared to other companies I researched and that was important to me. Lastly, there was some damage left behind from the previous awning and they offered to repair the area. Overall I was very happy with the product and experience.

    I would recommend getting the wind sensor. Works great and I don’t need to worry about a storm destroying my awning. The awning looks awesome and works as advertised. Price was a little high compared to others but it is a better product than the cheaper alternatives. Only took about 2 weeks for them to install. I would buy again.

    A little more expensive but considering they install and give you a warranty with the installation service, I believe it’s worth it. We also purchased the light kit because we like to have company over in the evening and it provides a nice ambiance on the deck. So we get use out of the awning day and night. I would recommend.

    I purchased from this company because it only took 3 weeks to get order and have it installed. It was easy to order online and I had a discount code that saved me almost $1,100. If there isn’t a discount code running, I would call and ask what discounts are available. The installers were friendly and cleaned everything up after they were finished. Took them about 3 hours. Looks great.
